I’m the proud owner of Phoenix Beauty Supply Co., a mom to two active-duty Airmen, and a very proud Mimi to seven sweet grandbabies.
Phoenix Beauty Supply Co. began during one of the hardest seasons of my life. After losing my mom in May 2022, I found myself trying to navigate a kind of grief I had never experienced before. I needed something positive to focus on—something to occupy my mind and give me a creative outlet while I learned how to move forward without her.
Believe it or not, the idea started during a trip to my local nail salon.
I remember sitting there and wondering, Could I create my own nail polish colors and start doing my nails at home? At the time, I knew very little about making nail products, but I started asking questions, researching, experimenting, and learning. Before long, what began as a way to cope with my grief became something I was genuinely excited about.
Then came the question: What would I call it?
Phoenix.
The name immediately felt right. A phoenix symbolizes rising from the ashes, resilience, and the beginning of something new. At a time when I was learning how to put the pieces of my life back together, it represented exactly what this new journey meant to me.
Little by little, an idea born during one of the most difficult times in my life grew into Phoenix Beauty Supply Co. and became something I never could have imagined.
What started with nail polish has grown into so much more. Today, I get to create products that are fun, beautiful, and made to bring a little happiness into your everyday routine. But no matter how much Phoenix grows, I never want to forget why it began.
For me, Phoenix will always be more than a business. It is a piece of my healing, a reminder of my mom, and proof that something beautiful can grow even from some of life’s hardest moments.
